Helambu Culture Trekking is ideal for people with less time who look for a cultural trekking experience and want to experience Nepal’s cultural diversity. Helambu is a lush region to the North of Kathmandu, inhabited by Sherpas, Tamang and Yolmo people. However, the Sherpas of this region differ in their practices from their cousins in the Everest region. Tamang and Yolmo are native to this area, though they have spread to other regions as well. Especially known for is Helambu for its sweet and delicious apples. You will find a variety of apple products here, locally produced and unique to this area. In addition, the trek passes through some beautiful forests and very interesting villages on route.
