Helambu Panch Pokhari Trekking leads you to the beautifully lush region to the North of Kathmandu: The Langtang National Park. While inhabited by Sherpas and Tamang people, the Sherpas of this region differ in their practices from their cousins in the Everest region. The trek is easily accessible from Kathmandu. Further, it passes through some beautiful forests and very interesting villages on route where many of the customs practiced centuries ago are still in evidence today. However, we will commence our journey overland to the beautiful Panch Pokhari lakes and from there further into the Helambu region. Especially known for its sweet apples, Helambu is a lush and stunning area. Finally, the trek finishes in Sundarijal, an hour drive from our hotel in Kathmandu.
