One of our most popular trips is the Tibet Encounter Tour where you make a journey overland taking the road from Lhasa to Kathmandu (or vice versa) passing the major cities in Tibet. 01Transfer to airport for Kathmandu / Lhasa flight. Upon arrival, meet by our Tibetan representatives and transfer to your hotel in Lhasa.
02Sightseeing tour of Potala palace, Sera and Norbulinka overnight at hotel in Lhasa.
03Sightseeing tour of Drepung, Jokhang temple and Barkhor. Overnight at hotel in Lhasa.
04Drive to Gyantse via Yamdrok Lake and visit Palchor Chode and Kumbum. Overnight at hotel in Gyantse.
05Drive to Shigatse and visit Tashi Lunpo monastery and local Market. Overnight at hotel in Shigatse.
06Drive Shigatse to Shegar and overnight at hotel in Lhatse or Shekar.
07Drive to Rongbuk, sightseeing of Rongbuk Monastery- excursion to Everest Base Camp and overnight at hotel in Rongbuk
08Drive to Nyalam and overnight at hotel in Nyalam.
09Drive up to Friendship Bridge (Nepal / Tibet border). After immigration formalities drive to Kathmandu
