Arun valley lies in the Makalu-Barun National park, between the Sagarmatha and Makalu mountain regions. It is not only a picturesque, but also a diverse region with stunning terraced landscapes and prosperous wilderness. Especially interesting is Arun Valley for its peacefulness: It is a much less touristy area and an exceptional route, which has been discovered by Nature Trail trekking team who loves to walk through the isolated valleys and hidden valleys since more than 23 years. The trek begins from Tumlingtar after an hour’s flight from Kathmandu and makes a half loop in the region ending the trek in Lukla. During the trek, you cross various ethnic settlements of Rai, Sherpa and Limbu people. In addition, Arun Valley offers an amazing trekking experience and the beauty of the natural paradise of eastern Nepal. Some incredible views of Mt. Everest, Thamserku, Makalu, Ama Dablam and the surrounding peaks offer deep magnetism to enliven your sharp imagination. The route of trekking in the Arun Valley is mysterious and extremely panoramic, with the natural jewel of lush hills and rhododendron forest. Moreover, the fluttering prayer flags offer a feeling of mysticism and tranquility. Then, from Paiyan, the trek joins with the usual route of the Everest region trekking and concludes at Lukla.
