190 km north of Lhasa, Nam Tso is one of the most famous lakes in Tibet as well as being a very important pilgrimage sight. Namtso is the highest salt-water lake in the world and the lake is 70 km long and 30 km wide. Because it is a very remote region so we will have to camp and carry camping, kitchen equipments and other provision for the entire trekking part.
This trek demands, crossing two passes over 5000m and begins less than 50km from Lhasa. A four- or five-day trek via Shug-la and Chitu- la onnects two of Tibet’s most important monasteries.
