Trekking through the world’s highest mountain passes is a dream adventure for many. The exhilarating journey over the three high passes — Renjo La (5,446m / 17,520ft), Cho La (5,420m / 17,782ft), and Kongma La (5,535m / 18,159ft) — combined with the climb of Island Peak (6,189m), offers unmatched panoramas of snow-clad peaks and breathtaking Himalayan scenery. This route provides some of the finest views of towering 8,000-meter giants like Everest, Lhotse, and Makalu, as well as striking lower peaks such as Ama Dablam, Pumori, Cholatse, Khumbutse, Nuptse, and more. The trek and climb itinerary is designed for those who seek both adventure and challenge on remote mountain trails. Along the way, you’ll pass through traditional Sherpa villages, where you can experience unique customs, culture, and Buddhist heritage — with monasteries, prayer wheels, mani walls, and colorful flags adding spiritual charm to the journey. Traversing Sagarmatha National Park, a sanctuary for rare Himalayan flora and fauna, you may encounter wildlife such as musk deer, Himalayan tahr, blue sheep, barking deer, yaks, blood pheasant, Tibetan snowcock, and crimson-horned pheasant in their natural habitat. Green Valley Nepal Treks offers the Everest Three High Passes Trek with Island Peak Climbing at competitive prices with excellent service. This is one of our most popular and highly recommended trekking packages, thoughtfully designed with a combination of tea house and tent accommodations. Our experienced Sherpa guides and porters are dedicated to ensuring your safety, comfort, and enjoyment, taking care of all the details while catering to your needs and interests throughout the journey. Island Peak, situated in the heart of the Chhukung Valley, is a striking peak rising above the Lhotse Glacier. Though its glaciated west face demands a solid effort to summit, the reward is spectacular — with sweeping views of Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, and other magnificent peaks making it an unforgettable experience for any climbing enthusiast.
