Langtang Ganja La Trekking is a beautiful route through the Langtang Valley and over the Ganja La Pass. We commence with an overland journey to Syabrubesi. Further, we spend four days hiking up through this beautiful alpine valley of Langtang and up to Kyanjin Gompa. Here, we have two days to explore the glaciers of the high valley. In addition, there is also the possibility to climb a minor peak of the area, which provides you with breathtaking views. These days allow us to acclimatise and prepare for the Ganja La Pass, the challenging part of our trip. However, you will be rewarded with unforgettable views! After completing the pass we make our journey back to Kathmandu via the beautiful and scenic Helambu region. The rewarding views on the colorful scenery and snow capped mountains will leave you with everlasting memories of this amazing trip!

Langtang Ganja La Pass Trekking Itinerary

We start our Himalayan adventure with a scenic 7–8 hour drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. The journey takes us along winding mountain roads, rivers, and traditional villages, giving a first glimpse of rural Nepalese life. Overnight stay in Syabrubesi.

The trek begins! We ascend gradually along the Langtang Khola, passing through lush forests and spotting diverse birdlife and even wild beehives hanging from cliffs. After 5–6 hours of trekking, we arrive at Lama Hotel for an overnight stay.
