Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Day 2 & 3: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing (1400m/4593ft) and Leisure Day & Kailash Tour Briefing (1300m/4264ft) the next day.
Day 2 you enjoy a full-day guided sightseeing tour of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu Valley. Highlights include Pashupatinath Temple, one of the holiest Hindu shrines, the serene Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Day 4: Drive Kathmandu to Nyalam (3750m/12303ft)
After breakfast, drive towards the Nepal–Tibet border and complete immigration formalities. Once in Tibet, continue driving to Nyalam through dramatic mountain scenery. Nyalam is the first major Tibetan town and an important acclimatization stop due to the sudden altitude gain.
