The Royal Trek, also known as the Skyline Trek, is one of the easiest and most rewarding short treks in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Named after Prince Charles, who trekked this route during his visit to Nepal in the 1980s, the trail offers a perfect combination of mountain scenery, cultural experiences, and comfortable walking conditions.Located just north of Pokhara, the trek follows scenic ridges above Begnas Lake and passes through traditional Gurung and Brahmin villages. Unlike the busier Annapurna trekking routes, the Royal Trek remains relatively peaceful, making it ideal for families, beginners, and travelers with limited time.
Throughout the journey, trekkers enjoy panoramic views of the Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Lamjung Himal, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu. The trail passes through terraced farmland, rhododendron forests, and charming mountain settlements where visitors can experience authentic local culture and hospitality. The trek concludes near Begnas Lake before returning to Pokhara, making it an excellent short Himalayan adventure for those seeking beautiful mountain views without extreme altitude.

Note: The trek can be operated in both teahouses and under the canvas on request, as well as possible to combine with some other activities such as white water rafting & wildlife safari. The itinerary can be customized according to your duration of holiday.
