The Arun Valley to Everest Base Camp Trek is one of Nepal’s most rewarding and culturally diverse trekking adventures. This classic Himalayan journey connects the remote Arun Valley region with the world-famous Everest trekking trail, offering trekkers a unique combination of off-the-beaten-path exploration and iconic Everest experiences.The trek begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar followed by trekking through lush lower valleys, traditional Rai villages, terraced farmland, dense forests, and remote mountain trails rarely visited by tourists. One of the major highlights is crossing the sacred Salpa Pokhari region, a beautiful alpine lake surrounded by forests and spiritual significance.
As the trek continues, the trail passes through Bung, Gaikharka, and Puiyan before joining the main Everest route at Phakding. Trekkers then follow the famous Khumbu trail through Namche Bazaar, Khumjung, Tengboche, Pheriche, Lobuche, and Gorak Shep.The ultimate highlight is climbing Kala Patthar (5540m/18176ft), one of the best viewpoints for panoramic Everest sunrise scenery. Along the way, trekkers experience Buddhist monasteries, Sherpa culture, glacier landscapes, and breathtaking views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and surrounding Himalayan giants.This trek is ideal for adventurers seeking both remote Himalayan wilderness and the legendary Everest trekking experience in a single journey.

Note: The trek can be operated in both teahouses and under the canvas on request, as well as possible to combine with some other activities such as white water rafting & wildlife safari. The itinerary can be customized according to your duration of holiday.
